Marketing Your Home

Marketing is a key component to selling your home. I have given you the steps to Preparing Your Home to Sell. Now comes the important task of promoting your home to the public and to other real estate agents. Most home transactions are still the result of co-oping with other agents. There are two listing services that are used by agents in the the Metro Atlanta Area - FMLS and Georgia MLS. Our company lists on both services to cover all our bases given some agents prefer one over the other. Once the listing has been put on these services, it is automatically picked up by all of the internet sites such as Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, Redfin, etc. 

The first two weeks are the most critical for marketing. To make the greatest impact, as your agent, I will

  • Have your home professionally photographed and/or videoed

  • Through mass email, notify over 800 agents with whom our company works with regularly  of the new listing

  • Host a Public Open House the first Sunday after the home is listed accompanied by mass email

  • Host an Agent Caravan the first Tuesday after listing to gather feedback.

  • Feature home on Keller Knapp website and my personal website
